Pwerle Gallery is a proudly Aboriginal-owned art gallery founded in 2015 by Jade Torres, carrying forward the legacy of her father Fred Torres' DACOU (Dreaming Art Centre of Utopia). We represent artists exclusively from the Atnwengerrp (Utopia) community in Central Australia - all direct blood relatives or extended family, including Minnie Pwerle, Barbara Weir and the next generation of emerging voices. Every painting carries an unbroken cultural lineage, told through four generations of family.

Our physical gallery is located in Hackney, Adelaide, and operates strictly by appointment, offering private viewings and personalised consultations to help collectors, designers and first-time buyers find pieces that resonate. Beyond the gallery walls, we advocate for Aboriginal rights and cultural awareness through talks, Reconciliation Action Plans and meaningful institutional partnerships.
