THE BLOCK 2025 X JADE AKAMARRE

Artist Jade Akamarre collaborated with The Block contestants Robby and Mat to create a bespoke 2.3 × 1.3 metre artwork for their House 5 Living & Dining Room, completed in just two and a half days and unveiled as the centrepiece of their winning Week Five reveal. Inspired by Daylesford’s landscape and the pair’s mood board, the work blended Jade’s cultural storytelling with contemporary design and is now available as the Daylesford Dreaming Print through Pwerle Gallery.

PORSCHE 75 YEAR ANNIVERSARY X JADE AKAMARRE

Porsche Centre Adelaide marked Porsche’s 75-year anniversary with a bespoke collaboration with Jade Akamarre, who created a vibrant artwork inspired by the brand’s legacy of innovation and her 60,000-year cultural storytelling. The celebration, featuring an intimate Q&A, fine dining, and a custom AKAMARRE outfit, highlighted the fusion of luxury, performance and Aboriginal art on a global stage.

SAMSUNG AUSTRALIA X ART BASEL HONG KONG 2025

In 2025, Samsung Australia invited Jade Akamarre to Art Basel Hong Kong, where she represented her family, culture, and gallery on one of the world’s most influential art stages. The experience celebrated both innovation and tradition, amplifying Aboriginal storytelling through cutting-edge technology while continuing the legacy of her great-aunt, Emily Kame Kngwarreye.

SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE 'BADU GILI' X MINNIE PWERLE

In 2017, the Sydney Opera House launched Badu Gili, a year-round First Nations projection illuminating its sails with stories, including Minnie Pwerle’s Awelye Dreaming. Her art lit up this global landmark twice nightly, connecting ancestral ceremony with one of the world’s most iconic stages.

MERCEDES ME X VOGUE X PWERLE GALLERY

In 2018, Pwerle Gallery transformed Mercedes-Me Melbourne into a living gallery with My Grandmother’s Country, showcasing four generations of women artists through bold Awelye-inspired works. In collaboration with Vogue, the evening featured live painting on a Mercedes bonnet, music, and storytelling—blending luxury, community and Utopia’s cultural legacy in the heart of the city.

PORSCHE CENTRE ADELAIDE X AFW23 x jade akamarre

In 2023, Jade Akamarre partnered with Porsche Centre Adelaide to reimagine the all-electric Taycan Cross Turismo, creating a luminous artwork that fused Porsche’s spirit of innovation with her Dreaming stories. Unveiled at Australian Fashion Week, the collaboration also marked the launch of her fashion label, AKAMARRE—signalling a bold new chapter in art, culture and design.

EMALI EARLY LEARNING CENTRE X CHARMAINE PWERLE

Pwerle Gallery partnered with Emali Childcare to embed Aboriginal perspectives into early learning, beginning with a bespoke artwork by Charmaine Pwerle, The Emali Story. Mapping the centres across South Australia, her work celebrates connection, childhood joy and inclusivity—becoming a lasting cultural identity across Emali’s community.

YAMAHA MOTOR AUSTRALIA x JADE AKAMARRE

In 2024, Jade Akamarre collaborated with Yamaha Australia to transform the iconic WaveRunner into a moving artwork, blending precision engineering with 60,000 years of cultural storytelling. Travelling Between Worlds became both a personal sanctuary and a global statement—merging heritage, innovation and identity on water’s edge.

BLOOMING EXHIBITION X BURNSIDE VILLAGE X HYGGE STUDIO

In 2023, Pwerle Gallery and Hygge Studio presented Blooming at Burnside Village—an immersive installation of 40 works inspired by Utopia’s wildflowers. Featuring four generations of artists, the exhibition celebrated land, lineage, and cultural renewal by uniting art, design and nature in a vibrant public setting.

AJE X MINNIE PWERLE

In 2017, Aje collaborated with Pwerle Gallery to reimagine Minnie Pwerle’s Awelye body-paint designs into their Resort 17/18 collection, debuting on the runway at the Art Gallery of NSW. Blending high fashion with cultural storytelling, the collection honoured Minnie’s legacy while bringing her Dreaming into a global fashion spotlight.

DESIGNER RUGS X MINNIE PWERLE

The Minnie Pwerle × Designer Rugs collection, created with DACOU and Designer Rugs, reimagined Minnie’s bold Awelye designs into hand-tufted works of 100% New Zealand wool. Blending cultural storytelling with contemporary interiors, the rugs honoured her legacy while bringing Utopia’s Dreaming into homes and spaces worldwide.

VINTELOPER X JADE AKAMARRE

For its Urban Winery Project Red #10 release, Vinteloper collaborated with Jade Akamarre, whose artwork infused the label with Dreaming stories from Atnwengerrp, Utopia. Born from resilience after the 2019 bushfires, the partnership celebrated land, culture and connection—transforming each bottle into a vessel of storytelling.

WOVEN IMAGE X MINNIE PWERLE

The Minnie Pwerle × Woven Image collection, created in partnership with DACOU, reimagined Minnie’s bold Awelye patterns into sustainable textiles and wallcoverings for commercial design. Celebrated in architecture and design circles, the collaboration brought Aboriginal storytelling into global interiors with sophistication and cultural integrity.

SALON HER X JADE AKAMARRE

In 2024, Salon HER partnered with Jade Akamarre as artist-in-residence, unveiling her work Dreaming at the salon’s “Love, HER” event with Marie Claire Australia. The collaboration fused culture, creativity and community—bringing Aboriginal storytelling into the salon space while supporting First Nations children through Children’s Ground.

BP AUSTRALIA

In 2019, BP Australia commissioned Charmaine Pwerle to create an artwork for its centenary celebrations, honouring 100 years of operations through Aboriginal storytelling. Her Awelye Dreaming carried forward the legacy of her mother Barbara Weir and grandmother Minnie Pwerle, bridging corporate milestones with 60,000 years of cultural continuity.

AMEX AUSTRALIA X JADE AKAMARRE

In 2024, American Express Australia featured Jade Akamarre in its renewed Artist Series, embedding her Dreaming-inspired designs across storefronts and point-of-sale displays nationwide. The collaboration transformed everyday transactions into moments of cultural connection, amplifying Aboriginal storytelling within commerce and community.

CHASTONE SHOPPING CENTRE X CHARMAINE PWERLE

In 2020, Chadstone Shopping Centre commissioned Pwerle Gallery to showcase large-scale works by Freddy and Charmaine Pwerle, bringing Scorpion Dreaming and Awelye Atnwengerrp to life. Displayed in one of Australia’s most iconic retail destinations, the commission embedded Utopia’s ancestral stories into a permanent cultural dialogue with contemporary audiences.

WESTFIELD MARION X CHARMAINE PWERLE X HYGGE STUDIO

For NAIDOC Week 2021, Pwerle Gallery and Hygge Studio partnered with Westfield Marion to unveil an immersive Infinity Wall wrapped in Charmaine Pwerle’s Awelye Atnwengerrp designs. The installation transformed her ancestral mark-making into a vibrant public experience, inviting families to engage with Aboriginal culture in an interactive and memorable way.

THE RUG COLLECTION X CHARMAINE PWERLE

In collaboration with The Rug Collection, Charmaine Pwerle created Awelye Atnwengerrp: The Creation of Atnwengerrp—a four-piece handwoven rug series named after her daughters. Translating women’s body paint designs from Utopia into contemporary textiles, the collection weaves family, legacy and Dreaming stories into everyday living.

WESTFIELD MARION X MARIAH AKAMARRE X HYGGE STUDIO

For NAIDOC Week 2022, Pwerle Gallery showcased Mariah Akamarre’s Awelye-inspired work at Westfield Marion while partnering with Emali Childcare to run children’s cultural art workshops. Supported by Aboriginal artist Shane Cook, the program combined large-scale exhibition with hands-on learning, fostering creativity and passing Dreaming knowledge to the next generation.

MAZI WINES X MINNIE PWERLE

Mazi Wines partnered with Pwerle Gallery to feature Minnie Pwerle’s bold Awelye designs across three rosé labels, uniting fine winemaking with Indigenous storytelling. Each bottle became a canvas for culture, carrying Minnie’s legacy of ceremony, movement and Country into moments of celebration and connection.

SIGNIFICANT OTHER X JADE AKAMARRE

In 2023, Significant Other partnered with Jade Akamarre for International Women’s Day, commissioning a bespoke artwork inspired by the brand’s collection. Blending Dreaming stories with bold colour and feminine energy, the collaboration celebrated Aboriginal women’s strength and placed cultural storytelling at the forefront of contemporary fashion.

BYRON AT BYRON X MINNIE PWERLE

In 2016, The Byron at Byron Resort wove Minnie Pwerle’s iconic Awelye designs into its $2.1 million refurbishment, making her art the centrepiece of its luxury interiors. From the foyer to custom furnishings, her legacy transformed the resort into a living celebration of Aboriginal culture, connection to Country, and contemporary design.
